Peterborough Flute Choir
Our group is formed of flautists in and around the Peterborough area with two rehearsal opportunities:
-       Main Group is for players of Grade 5 plus
-       Take 2 is aimed at newer/less experienced/less confident players.

We meet monthly on a Sunday afternoon at the Ashcroft Centre in Cirencester with occasional additional rehearsals around concert times. The group is all inclusive and supportive; there are parts for players of any level and age. We have members from around grade 3 level right up through the grades including diplomas! We play all types of music including trying out extended techniques sometimes. Suggestions of music to play are very welcome from group members.

We use piccolo, flute, alto and bass flute regularly and sometimes play with piano accompaniment.

Juniors can sign up for a year for £65 and seniors for £85 or you can pay as you go at £7.50 for under 25s and £9 for seniors. We have a break with drink and biscuits.

The aim is to offer a nurturing environment to play, develop and build confidence with other flute lovers.

The highlight of the group so far has been their performance at Wembley Arena as part of the Brent Makes Music - we rocked Wembley Arena!!
