Brina Kafol Žust, a former principal flautist of the RTV Slovenia Symphony Orchestra and Marko Zupan, a versatile flautist and arranger are both members of the Slovenian Flute Trio together with London based flautist Boris Bizjak. Their new CD release includes a world premiere of Flute Trios by French Romantic composer Eugene Walckiers, whose music you will be able to hear this evening.
The Trio will be performing with Yoko Misumi, a member of the Greenwich Trio and one of the most compelling chamber musicians and pianists in the London musical scene.
Programme will include music by W.A.Mozart, Clara Schumann, Eugene Walckiers, Anže Rozman and a world premiere piece by Fumiko Misumi.
Artistic director of the Embassy Concerts is violinist Lana Trotovšek, the recipient of the prestigious Prešeren Fund Award awarded by the Republic of Slovenia in the recognition of achievements in the field of artistic creation.
The concerts are recorded by Hedone Records and available to listen at Embassy's YouTube Channel.
Event is part of the cultural programme marking the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Slovenia and the United Kingdom.
