The Chamäleon Flute Ensemble is delighted to finally be able to 'throw open the doors' and hold a 'Come and Play' day.
No matter if you're interested in joining our flute choir, or just want to come an make music for the day, we would love to meet you!
The day is aimed at players of approximately grade 5+ standard and taking part costs £15/player. Age limit: 14+
The schedule for the day will look like this:
10.00 am: Arrival with tea/coffee and get set-up
10.30 am: warm-up & first look at some music
11.30 am: tea/coffee break
12.00 noon: more music making
1pm: lunch break
2.00 pm: last few pieces
3.00 pm: tea/coffee break
3.30 pm: run through
5.30 pm: concert
Once you have booked, you will be emailed a short questionnaire about your playing, so we can assign you the most suitable parts. These will then be emailed to you by 18th April. Physical copies of all parts will be available on the day.
Please bring a packed lunch or be prepared to grab something local (St Matts is approximately a 10mins walk away from Cardigan Fields in Kirkstall). Tea/Coffee and biscuits will be supplied.
Both the hall and the church are accessible, please let us know if you you have any accessibility requirements. The concert will be open to the public, free admission, donations appreciated.
