Residential Weekend at Rugby School: 2-4 April 2027
Join fellow flute teachers for a new series of three online seminars culminating in a residential weekend of ideas-sharing, practical workshops, and professional development.
Online Monthly Seminars
Time: 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM via Zoom Cost per session: £5 BFS members | £10 non-members
Between January and March, we will be holding a monthly themed session for teachers. While the first session is set, the following two will be shaped directly by your feedback.
Sunday 17th January 2027 – Working with Beginners: Giving Them the Best Possible Start Join us as we explore how to approach teaching beginners. We will be joined by Carolyn Kelly and Joanna Preston, both of whom have a huge amount of experience and ideas to share.

Residential Weekend Course
Dates: 2–4 April 2027 Location: Rugby School Cost: TBC In the region of £250 (inclusive of accommodation and all meals)
Join us for a weekend full of sharing ideas and experiences! The content of this weekend will be shaped by YOU. Please give us as much information as possible regarding what you would like to see included.

Working with SEND students
Discovering new teaching repertoire
Sharing ideas on ensemble material that works for us
Teaching children with dental braces
